Getting to Pearl Island | One Taxi, One Ferry, Done
Every Pearl Island trip starts at one of two docks, both an easy taxi ride from the cruise port and downtown Nassau. Your ticket tells you which one, this page tells you everything else.
Two Docks. Easy to Find.
All experiences except the Swimming Pigs Express East Dock, behind Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville on Paradise Island. Check in at the Pearl Island booth by 10:30/45 AM, depending on your experience, departure 11:00 AM.
Three Ways to the Dock
From the Cruise Port
- Exit the cruise port. Land taxis wait right at the exit.
- Ask for the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal (a short ride over the bridge) or walk to Elizabeth on Bay Marina in 5 to 10 minutes along Bay Street if you're on the Pigs Express.
- Check in at the Pearl Island booth 15 minutes before departure.
From Nassau or Paradise Island
- On Paradise Island, the terminal may be walkable. Ask your concierge.
- From downtown Nassau or Cable Beach, take a taxi over the Paradise Island Bridge.
- Give yourself a buffer. Bridge traffic is unpredictable at peak times.
From Nassau Airport (NAS)
- Taxis are available directly outside arrivals, no pre-booking needed.
- Allow 30 to 40 minutes to the dock, more in rush hour.
- Flying in and sailing out the same day is tight. We'd rather you didn't risk it.
Take a land taxi, not a water taxi. Water taxis in Nassau aren't reliable on timings, and we can't hold the ferry for a guest whose water taxi ran late. The land taxi over the bridge is the safe choice.
Cruise Port → Bridge → East Dock → Island
A short taxi over the bridge, check-in at the booth and about 25 minutes of turquoise water. That's the whole journey.

How Long Everything Takes
Plan back from your all-aboard or flight time, not forward from breakfast. Add about an hour on each side of your experience.
The Hardest Part Is Choosing the Package.
Getting here takes a taxi and a ferry. Deciding between pigs and reef, that's on you.
