By booking an experience with us, you accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your party. Please make sure every guest travelling with you is aware of them.
02Your booking
A booking is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation from us by email, not when you submit the booking form and not when payment is taken. Please check the date, departure time and guest details as soon as your confirmation arrives, and contact us right away if anything is wrong.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, including the email address your confirmation is sent to. If you booked through a third party such as a cruise line, Viator, GetYourGuide or a hotel desk, your contract for the booking itself is with that party, and their booking and cancellation terms apply alongside these terms for your visit.
03Prices and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and, unless stated otherwise, are per person. Prices are VAT inclusive. Child pricing applies to guests aged 4 to 12, except on snorkeling tours, where guests must be 8 or older. Children aged 3 and under join free of charge. Gratuity is not included.
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. Add-ons such as Private Cabanas, Private Villas or the Aqua Park may be purchased at checkout or, subject to availability, on the island. Drinks beyond those included in your package are payable on the island.
All products, prices and promotions are subject to change. The price confirmed in your booking confirmation is the price that applies to your visit.
04Your ticket
Your ticket is valid only for the experience, date and departure time shown on it.
Your ticket must be presented in full at check-in, printed or on your device. Please do not damage or obscure the QR code, as we cannot check in a ticket we cannot scan.
Tickets may be transferred to another guest, provided the full ticket is presented at check-in and the party size and package remain unchanged. Tickets may not be resold commercially.
Cancellations, changes and refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
05Check-in and departure
Your departure point is shown on your ticket:
- All experiences except the Swimming Pigs Express depart from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, East Dock, behind Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville on Paradise Island. Departure 11:00 AM, check-in by 10:45 AM.
- The Swimming Pigs Express departs from Elizabeth on Bay Marina, East Bay Street, Nassau, just east of the Nassau Cruise Port. Departure 10:45 AM, check-in by 10:30 AM.
Look for our team in yellow or navy-blue polos with company logos.
The ferry departs on schedule. We cannot hold the boat for late guests, and a missed departure is treated as a no-show under our Cancellation Policy. Please plan your journey with buffer, especially if you are coming from a cruise ship or from downtown Nassau.
06On the island
Pearl Island is a private island, and we want every guest to have a safe, relaxed day. You must follow the instructions of our staff at all times. We may refuse boarding, or remove a guest from the island without refund, where a guest:
- is intoxicated or behaves in a way that endangers themselves or others
- is abusive to staff or other guests
- ignores safety instructions from a guide or crew member
- damages property, wildlife or the reef
Glass containers and drones are not permitted on the island. Outside food and beverages may not be brought onto the island. Management reserves the right to refuse service.
07Safety and fitness to participate
Snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming and the Aqua Park are water activities carried out at your own risk. You must tell us before departure about any medical condition, injury or limitation affecting your ability to take part safely.
Snorkeling tours require a minimum age of 8 and every snorkeler must be able to swim and be genuinely comfortable in open water. All snorkel tours are guided by certified instructors in small groups, with a safety briefing before every tour. Flotation vests are available and we strongly recommend wearing one.
You must be able to enter and exit a boat unassisted or travel with a companion who can assist you. If you are unsure whether an activity is suitable for you, contact us before booking and we will advise you honestly.
08Wildlife and environment
Pearl Island is a living ecosystem, not an attraction. Our reef protection program and sustainability commitments only work if every guest plays along.
As a condition of your visit you agree to:
- use coral-friendly sunscreen and never touch or stand on coral
- feed no animal except the pigs and then only with feed provided by our guides
- leave shells, plants and wildlife where you found them
- stay on marked paths and take your rubbish with you or use the bins provided
Please note that wildlife is wildlife. We cannot guarantee that the pigs will swim or that any particular animal will make an appearance on the day of your visit.
09Children
Guests aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, including in and around the water. Accompanying adults remain responsible for the supervision of the children in their party throughout the day. Life vests for children are available on request.
10Weather and changes by us
Your safety comes first. In severe weather or sea conditions we may cancel or reschedule departures, close individual activities such as snorkeling or the Aqua Park, or adjust the day's program. If we cancel your experience, you will be offered a rebooking or a full refund as set out in our Cancellation Policy. We are not responsible for the weather on the day, and ordinary rain, wind or clouds are not grounds for a refund.
11Our liability
We are liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of The Bahamas.
Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed cruise ship departures, missed flights, or other travel disruption.
We strongly recommend that you hold travel insurance covering your visit. We are not an insurer.
12Photography and media
We may photograph or film on the island for promotional use. By visiting, you agree that you may appear in such material. If you would prefer not to, tell a member of staff on the day and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Commercial photography, filming and drone use require our prior written permission.
Please contact events@pearlislandbahamas.com for media and production requests.
13If something goes wrong
Tell us on the day, on the island, while we can still fix it. A manager is always on site.
If that is not possible, email info@pearlislandbahamas.com with your booking reference and we will respond as quickly as we can.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the courts of The Bahamas have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your home country and cannot be excluded.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force for your booking is the one published on this page on the date of your booking.
